The British news agency SWNS has released a selection of its best photographs from 2022 and is asking the public to vote on which one should be named the SWNS Picture of the Year. The images include a Siberian tiger, a castle floating in the sky, and moments of intense emotion and tragedy.
The agency’s picture editor, Jon Mills, said that a great news photograph tells a story that stays with the viewer and many of the images in the gallery are “stunning images of this beautiful world.”
